AGU aims to be a research-focused university by providing high-quality undergraduate education and offering laboratory infrastructure that allows scientists from different disciplines to work in their fields and on joint projects, emphasizing graduate education activities.
AGU aims to benefit all its stakeholders through its education and research activities, with an academic staff composed of experienced scientists in national and international research projects. One of AGU's main goals is to produce joint projects with regional industry, effectively realizing university-industry collaboration, and focusing on qualified industrial R&D activities.
In AGU’s Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate program, great importance is placed on advanced graduate education necessary for high-level research. Our research focuses on rapidly growing areas of today, including optics, photonics, nanotechnology, biomedical and bioinformatics, information and communication technology, power systems engineering, energy, control, and automation.
All graduate students are encouraged to participate in research projects as full-time research assistants. Research projects are funded by TÜBİTAK, BAP, programs within the European Union, and industry. Candidates are particularly encouraged to apply for TÜBİTAK 2211 and TÜBİTAK 2215 scholarships. Additionally, scholarships from our foundation are available for highly qualified candidates.
We believe that the reputation of AGU's Electrical and Computer Engineering master's and doctoral programs will be built on the quality of its faculty members and graduate students. Bright, highly motivated, and enthusiastic graduate students, working with renowned faculty members in their fields, will contribute to creating one of the best programs in our country.
GRADUATE PROGRAM EDUCATION (Learning and Teaching) OBJECTIVES
