AGU Graduate School of Engineering and Science started accepting its first students in the 2013-2014 Fall term. Currently, there are 99 Masters and 98 PhD. students enrolled in 12 graduate programs in eight disciplines. The graduate education is carried out in English language with the goal of pursuing cutting-edge research that will make significant contributions to the international academic environment. The dynamic and internationally renowned graduate school faculty consists of 13 professors, 10 associate professors, and 55 assistant professors, and most of the faculty are recipients of various prestigious national and international academic awards. The school aims at becoming a house of significant research and making AGU as one of the recognized research institution in the world. The main goal of the faculty is to train highly qualified individuals who are entrepreneurs, well integrated with the world, and able to convert knowledge into value through a solution seeking research focus on global challenges. With a strong motivation on the university’s vision of becoming the pioneer of third generation universities, AGU Graduate School of Engineering and Science focuses on a wide range of national and international research projects in which graduate students play a critical role. We believe it is highly important that the outcomes of the graduate studies are converted into velues that can contribute to the society socially, economically, and scientifically, propose solutions to global issues, and published in impactful international academic journals. Research conducted in the Graduate School are funded by EU Framework Programs, TUBITAK, Ministry of Industry and Technology, and industry.
