AGÜ graduate research staff who pursue their graduate education in various universities under the framework of YÖK Academic Staff Education Programme gathered for the “AGÜ graduate research staff meeting”.

The meeting, which was held at the Sümer Campus, was designed for the research staff tied with AGÜ to share their expectations for today and the future, to understand the issues they face, and to discuss possible solution proposals.

Among the participants were Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu, Vice Rectors Prof. İrfan Alan and Prof. Yusuf Baran, Deans, and Department Chairs.

In his talk, Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu described AGÜ’s mission and vision, and developments at AGÜ to the audience. He emphasized AGÜ’s big goals and gave a solidarity message by stating that the goal will be achieved altogether.

Vice Rectors Prof. Yusuf Baran mentioned about AGÜ’s qualified faculty and research activities in his talk. Also, Assoc. Prof. Niğmet Uzal, the Director of the Promotion Board, and Assist. Prof. Elif Bengü gave presentations on “A New Generation University” and “Toward the Future Academics”, respectively.

After a Question/Answer session, a campus tour was organized for the research staff. The meeting ended with the tour of Abdullah Gül Presidentship Museum and Library.
