Master’s Program

Abdullah Gül University (AGÜ), with its vision of becoming a research-oriented university, considers graduate education as a strategic priority. With its interdisciplinary academic structure and modern research laboratories, it provides a strong infrastructure for advanced research at the master’s level.

The AGÜ Mechanical Engineering Master’s Program, with its academic staff experienced in national and international projects, aims to carry out studies that generate added value both in academia and industry. Within the program, students gain research competence to develop innovative solutions to engineering problems, while projects integrated with industry effectively support university–industry collaboration.

The program’s research areas cover fundamental and current topics in mechanical engineering such as energy systems, heat and fluids, solid mechanics, materials science, manufacturing technologies, mechatronic systems, and thermodynamics. Research in these fields is funded through TÜBİTAK, BAP, European Union projects, and private sector-supported studies.

Graduate students are encouraged to take active roles in research projects and can work as full-time research assistants. In addition to developing scientific thinking skills, students also gain competence in project management and engineering applications.

The AGÜ Mechanical Engineering Master’s Program aims to become one of Turkey’s leading engineering programs by bringing together qualified students with faculty members who are competent in their fields and open to research and innovation.

GRADUATE PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL (Learning and Teaching) OBJECTIVES

The Mechanical Engineering Master’s Program aims to provide students with the competence to combine fundamental engineering knowledge with advanced analysis and application skills. Within the program, students:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge in areas such as energy systems, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, materials, and manufacturing technologies, reaching the competence to carry out research and development activities in both industry and academia,
  • Take part in interdisciplinary projects and develop creative and innovative solutions to engineering problems,
  • Keep up with current technological developments in their fields and contribute to the literature through scientific publications and original studies.
